We're building FamilyFlow as homeschool parents ourselves, so children's privacy isn't a compliance checkbox for us — it's the design brief. This page states our commitments plainly.

familyflowapps.com is directed at parents. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 here, and there are no accounts, ads, or trackers on the Site.

In the FamilyFlow app (at public launch)

• Parents own everything. A parent creates the family account, creates each student profile, and controls it. Student profiles are sub-profiles of the parent's account.
• Minimal child data. Student profiles need only a first name or nickname and the schoolwork itself — no email, no phone number, no social features, no ads, no third-party tracking, ever.
• No child-facing AI chat. AI generates materials and drafts grading for the parent to approve; students are never placed in an open-ended chat with an AI.
• Parents can see and delete. Parents can review and permanently delete any student profile and its data from inside the app, at any time.
• COPPA. Where the app collects personal information from children under 13, it does so with verifiable parental consent — the parent sets up and consents to each student profile — and we honor parents' rights to review and delete under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
